I started building up my collection in November 2007. Since then, my collection has grown exponentially, comprising of figures and merchandise of characters and mecha from various Anime series. I also have a passion for IT, Language and Animation.

As some of you might know, I have finally started my Japanese classes and a whole new world is being opened up for me. Since practice is needed, I have decided to grab some Manga and Light Novels to read. For Manga, I'll be going for the easy 4 Komas like LUCKY STAR (seriously, the choice could not be more obvious) and K-On!, though I'm kinda stuck when it comes down to which light novels I should get.

So, for those of you who are fluent in Japanese or, like me, are beginners, what Light Novels would you recommend? Of course, I am eying the Dengeki Bunko stuff like Shakugan no Shana and Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, but am also considering personal favorites like Haruhi and Full Metal Panic!.

The thing is, would these novels be too challenging? What other Novels turned Manga/Anime would you recommend?

Thanks! (^.^)
