Is it stable to have your DETOLF like this? I want to raise my DETOLF too, so I'm thinking about the different ways to do that.
Should be stabled assuming its completely flat and level like a tiled or wooded floor. After that it would be all about weight distribution inside the cabinets with the figure layout or anchor the cabinets to the wall (I think they include them in the kit).
Yes, there is no problem having it like this. No earthquakes around here so it's almost impossible for it to fall.
That's a nicely organised collection and I love the layout. I'm a little nuts myself so would be inclined to take the bases and tops of the Detolfs to a car pannel beater / repair shop and get a quote for respraying them to match the rest of your furnature. That way they won't look out of place and should have a smooth factory looking finish.
A thin but long wall scroll, anime themed clock or even better a glass / white framed picture might look really neat on the wall in between the two Detolfs.
I agree - it's a shame, that the DETOLFs are not available with white base/roof :(
