Edit: Some observations

I just noticed something with the dictation. Absolutely amazing. If you change the keyboard to Japanese- it'll take the dictation and write things in both kana and kanji. And it's the correct kanji. OMG- this is cool.

The screen is absolutely stunning. It's truly like going from an old iPhone to the retina display. The biggest difference is in photos. They are much crisper. If you take high resolution photos and dump them on your iPad- you'll appreciate it.

Speed wise there isn't a difference that I notice so far- but I'll put it through its paces when I start up some of the games.

LTE isn't available close by but HSPA+ is so I'll have to run through that eventually. I'll probably wait till they allow tethering with the iPad on the AT&T network just so I can cut my data plan for my iPhone down to size.

I'll take some pictures and post em soon.

The dictation was the unexpected bonus that just made my jaw drop- especially in Japanese. I can speak with a native accent but my writing sucks so this is a boon. And the fact that it picks the correct kanji. Wow.
