   As much as I would love to get my hands on one of these, I'm better off waiting for a few years until the platform becomes fully embraced by the market.
   The PSP is still far a more versatile handheld console imo. It plays music, movies, has several game emulators, etc due to the common memory stick format.
   Also, I'm still quite confused why Sony decided to make a proprietary memory that Vita exclusive.

   That aside, there are some major improvements for the Vita such as better graphics and overall newer technology.

   My honest .02 cents.

      Proprietary memory is a cash cow, plain and simple. Take a MicroSD card, change the shape, and charge a fortune. Since its a new format, you have at least 2-3 years before Lexar and Sandisk will be able to make their own versions to make them less expensive.

      Personally, I got a 32GB card, so I won't have to deal with memory for a while. Using amazon trade-ins, i got it for $17 out of pocket, so I am not complaining.

      My biggest grief on the Vita is the lack of multiple PSN IDs, it takes me 6-8 min to switch from US to JP PSN stores ;_; And since a lot of games have region specific online servers, I am forced to play the switching game.

         Yeah I'll get the game eventually, once prices drop. I'll be missing out on some potentially good games but oh well.

         Sweet deal on the 32GB card!

            Btw, region specific online servers? That is wack!
            I had a 4 GB Sandisk memory stick on my PSP before, got it for a good price too.

   Same as Re-ACT, I want to like it but I can't. Yet another Sony memory card format. Can't get my old PSP games on it unless I spend a fortune. Fiddly buttons as they are smaller and closer together than on the PSP and I have comparatively large hands, non-standard USB connector cables. The list of things negatives is just too long. Shame.

      I recently had a chance to test one and it's light for it's size. The buttons do take some getting used to.
      Yup more stuff to buy for it.

      PSP is still good choice since new games and software updates are still being released for the platform.
