Lighting advice?

   I'm not an expert but could I suggest putting some LED lights above and below the shelfs, since they're glass and they'll light other figures too! (^-^)b

      That's an awesome idea, thanks a lot! My biggest problem is that I want my apartment to become more... minimalistic, but to do that literally all my furniture would need to be replaced, plus I'm moving soon, sooooo it's kind of like I'm stuck in apartment limbo haha

      I'll definitely put that suggestion into action though!

   Those appear to be a pair of Ikea Detolf’s so I’ll assume you have access to a local store. Take a look on their website as they do have a few a small range of lighting options including led bars and all are pretty easy to install. Here are a few options I found on our local Australian site for them.

   I am working on a pretty fancy solution to light up my own two cabinets that I'll share pic's of once done, but I hope this helps you in the mean time.

      I was about to suggest these. Just note that the multi-color-changing ones have a 'white' setting, but it's not a pure white, it still has a slight shade of blue. The white DIODERs that can't change color are a more pure white.

      This is the best suggestion, I actually had no idea Ikea sold these. My closest store is a couple hours away in Massachusetts but it's going to be worth the trip to finally get some decent lighting in those cases. It's almost a waste to have the detolfs if they aren't well-lit. Thanks so much for finding those!

         I've installed them right with my first detolf since I happened to stumble across them on my way out ^^

         I've also applied some mirror foil to the back wall since that post, it has a really nice effect on the lighting!

            Thanks man, that's an excellent reference.

            Those risers are the solution to my Selvaria problem! I have to buy one of those, otherwise she is just so damn awkward in the case with literally anything else haha.
