Tsukiko in black kimono
After showcasing photos of Atsuko earlier, it’s now time to introduce Tsukiko to you, clad in the gorgeous Umemurasaki Plum Violet kimono from Volks.
Recently received my order of Saber Alter 2nd ver, decided to rename her to Tsukiko and imbue her with a different personality instead of the dark alter ego of Saber from “Fate/stay night”.
Must confess that after her initial arrival, was unsure if I would really like Tsukiko but quickly bonded with her during this first photo shoot. She's adorable!
Quite like the contrast between the black kimono and white skin tone, as well as the contrast between the deep shadows and bright rays of light, they give these images lots of contrast and punch, even if they have a darker overtone.
Included these two photos taken at another location, it never ceases to amaze me how other lighting, settings like exposure and tweaks in Adobe Lightroom can create such different imagery.
For the last three photos, processed the raw captures using a custom preset as a base to achieve a different look. I like how this warmer, near golden glow turned out, it works well with the warm sunlight, Tsukiko’s yellow wig and eyes.
