** Warning this is a very image intensive post** The Anime Contents Expo (ACE) was held today in Japan at the Makuhari Messe just outside Tokyo. Here's some photo coverage of the event, with no particular arrangement to the photos. It was a really nice event and seemed quite popular, so I have high hopes for the future of it too!

The grand entrance (or actually the grand entrance sign which was still a few mins walk from where the queues to enter began).

In the middle of the queue to get in, after we had our tickets. We arrived at about 9am (when it opened) and first had to queue for tickets since we weren't in japan before the 23rd to pick up the presale tickets. As soon as we joined the ticket queue we were told there was a high change we wouldn't be able to get any tickets. But we lucked out and managed to reach the end of the ticket queue, a short while before they stopped selling anymore tickets. In the end we got inside shortly after 10am.
