Saturday Lol Figs #14

I haven't forgotten my original plan to buy a camera for my lolfig project. The only thing that changed is the candidate.

Recently I've stumbled upon 2 models from Panasonic. One being the latest model, LUMIX DMC FZ47 and the other one is the slightly older FZ150. Both are similarly priced (sub $400, which is quite affordable to me). However the FZ150, despite being the older one (launched sometime in Q4 last year) seems to be a better choice as it has a wider ISO range and offers more control over final results if compared to FZ47. This by the way is just a preliminary assessment. I might change my mind later.

Wide ISO range does matter to me because I'm thinking of taking HDR figure pics. So far I haven't found anybody doing it but it doesn't mean I'm going to be the first one though. I hope by the end of Q2 this year I'd be able to save enough to get either one of the above cameras.

Back to the lolfigs track, you'll notice I have more than usual to share this time. My source? Mostly Tumblr, 2ch, Google+... the usual place. It's just that over the past week I found many figure pics passed my "lolfig" requirements and thus ended up being shared here.
