Thot I would give up my Anime Collection when I turned 50. That was what I wrote on my previous post. Of the several comments offered by the viewers, one suggested I should keep them and share them with my future grand children. I laughed it off then. I could not imagine how my grand children would react to an old man toying around with those figurines.
Months later, I turned 50, just like what I had predicted. No. I did not predict, I am just stating the obvious. Everyone will cross into their 50's. The big question is…is life going to be all different? Are things only relevant for certain age group, and have to stopped the moment you grew past that age?
I did stop the interest, at least tried very hard not to get excited. It was a tough fight. You saw things you liked and then you told yourself to just wipe it off your mind.
In my work, I am a very technical person. I have good eyes for details. Off work, I am a very visual person. I like beautiful things and people. I love art, photography, fashion, sculpture and music. Anything which are visually stunning or sound that brings a sensation to your ear.
Anyway, I decided I should not hold back. You only get to live once. Do, not what others tell you. Like, not just what others think is right or proper. I am just going to ” let live and live ” . Let others live their lives and me my own.
So here it is..after the previous piece I bought For FETCHr, I pre-ordered more, including these 1:1 scale Ladies. That’s not a protest, it’s a celebration.
