I just wanted to share some pictures of my fifth DD, who arrived last week. She is my first DD that gets a new name, since I'm not familiar with her character. Here she is exploring her new surroundings.
Here is what I imagine Sakura was like when she was little. I got the PJ's from Anne in exchange for sending her my spare MDD body to take measurements for her patterns.
Balldylox wanted some pillows for his daughters, so I gave it a try and finished all six of them yesterday. Upon seeing the finished product, my girls volunteered to test them and make sure they were of acceptable quality.
Balldylox sent me a package, and I had the idea to do a box opening photostory. It somehow grew into this big post with lots of pictures, and became ecchi along the way.^^ Thanks to Balldylox for helping out with this.
I bought this plushie toy of Renard from the Gunnerkrigg Court webcomic online. I saw his expression and thought that he would be the perfect plushie for Aoi.
The outfits that I ordered from balldylox and made by his friend Anne came today in the mail, and Mari and Sakura just couldn't wait to try them on. I also used this chance to try some new wigs that I got.
I found this clear acrylic cake stand online. It didn't look like a cake stand when I saw it, it looked more like a low table for my DDs...Funny how that works.^^
I finally got around to making an outfit for Aoi. I found some nice spandex with stripes that are about the right scale, and made another swimsuit. So now, everyone is ready for summer. :)
This time I made a white top for Sakura, but paired it with a sarong that I made from a thin silk scarf. Mari wanted to take her own pictures this time.^^
I was able to get some good Aoi pictures in early morning sunlight today. I've never been able to take good ones before, they kept coming out overexposed. Maybe I got it at the right time today, or I'm learning how to take better pics :-)
I saw Mari and Aoi trying to do a piggyback ride, and asked them to hold the pose while I took some pictures. I was amazed that Aoi can stand on her own and carry Mari. ^^
Here is my Sakura's first post here. I was waiting until I could do something different than her default look before posting pictures, and now I found this wig that looks really good on her. Took off her vest and shoes to give her a nice relaxed...
Got a good deal on a bunch of used Bratz doll clothes and accessories on Ebay last weekend. It had enough items in it for all of my mamachapps. I think they look better with more casual outfits than what they have on by default.
I bought this Hanwei mini katana for Aoi, and it turned out to be a good fit for her. It's a pretty nice sword, and is fairly sharp, which makes posing Aoi with it a little bit scary :)
