FIGMA Flight Simulator!
After the first post on my -=Moe Air Wing=- which featured Haruhi (never mind her vandalised reputation nowadays), here is my entry for the previous Wonderfest photocontest. Of course, it didn't win anything, although it was accepted as an valid entry.
This flight simulator was what I would have contributed to Arayden's planned FIGMA display booth at Anime Festival Asia 2009, but it turned out DC did it instead.
The flight sim itself is a plastic model kit 1:12 scale of the F-16 cockpit.
Room is scratchbuilt, with a screenshot of the airplane arcade game 'Afterburner Climax' by SEGA.
The theme is something like what the SOS-Dan would have done for their next cultural festival.
The yen symbol is all wrong. Please dun flame me for that. Should had been more careful. >.<

Haruhi's the 'Bitch'in Betty' (nickname for the female computerized warning voice system) -- maybe Miku will be a good replacement ^^

Wow, that game sure bring backs memories! Awesome display there! Wish I was artistic enough to do stuff like this.
Anyone can come up with the concept. But the cockpit needed a lot of time to handpaint the buttons..

Italeri model kit, F-16 cockpit in 1:12 scale. retails around 25USD i guess.

Awesome application of the 1:12 scale F-16 cockpit! Perfect scale for figmas! However RIO pilots are typically with F/A-18 and previous naval aircraft. F-16s use the term WSO for the back-seater
Yup, USAF and USN rivalry. But the pic is fundamentally wrong, with F-16 cockpit AND F/A-18 in the game screenshot. Plus a F-14 as advert signboard. It's pretty confused ^^lll

Is Falcon 4.0 a aviation game too? Any good?
Yes, and it has different "bloody" difficulties or rather "bloody realism" depending on which version you play.
Allied Force is the newest and the most widely available but is said to be the most basic version of them all. I have a copy but was turned off by it's difficulty.. or maybe i just din like the F-16..
The 3rd Party "unofficial" add on mods such as Free Falcon & Open Falcon are said to be even more realistic but are pain to install because of so many bugs etc..
