iPad 32GB WiFi

Posted by BatMouse [www]

Have been waiting for this new gadget for a while now. Apple has always been good with building hype and making us do impulsive purchase on their products. Though I have to say I am very happy with this purchase :)

Just like the iPhone, the iPad has a nice and compact packaging. It has only enough packaging material to protect it, nothing more.

The screen is protected by a translucent wrapping, the same material that wraps other Apple products.

Booting up with the Apple logo, I wonder why they decided to use the same size logo they used on the iPhone....

Finally have it activated, the screen is much nicer and with the familiar user interface as an iPhone or iPod Touch, there is essentially no learning curve to start using this gadget.

Very nice. I'll be skipping the first generation - I think it's wise to do so with most new technology - but I'm very interested in the iPad's potential. If the Marvel Comics app started offering their entire range, up-to-date, that alone would be reason enough for me to buy one.

I think the differentiator is really the form factor and the storage. With netbooks you get more storage, but reading on it is limited to landscape mode.

I dont see any point in its existance beside making money off Apple fanboys.
A Mac book has so much more potential, heck i can get a notepad with more capabilities for hlf the price.

ya, different strokes for different folks, then again, I love MacBooks, too. Why is fanboy sounding so condescending all of a sudden?

I guess the question here is, if you have the moolah to spend, then why not?

Gadgets are always a welcome addition to one's expenses. XD
