-=Moe Air Wing=- SA-03 Nanoha~ Rafale Marine
[PIC INTENSIVE]
I present my most colorful piece, but it isn't the best work I've done. The seventh Sky Angel SA-07 is.
Here is Sky Angel -03, Takamachi Nanoha. Stars Flight, -=Moe Air Wing=-
in France's most modern fighter-bomber, the Rafale in the Marine variant.

The Customary Flyby

Like Miku, the Rafale M has forward little wings or canards. I take them to represent the 'hands' or sleeves.

Done stripe by stripe. Dead bored halfway. Really.

Completed. I'd say it gives the plane a little something extra.

And of course, I still hate this part.

Done (at last) Ready for Moe-ficiation! That's when peer modellers scream for me not to murder the plane.

SA-03 has 6 air-to-air missiles, painted pink to resemble the Axel Shooter Move. *Groan* The drop fuel tanks are painted gold and mica red at the tip to resemble the Intelligent Device.*more groans*

Just had to do this pic. Sink Nanoha in a tub.

Finally out from the factory. I think it's a little too over-decorated. The jury is still out.

The canards had a tolerably OK fit. I was sweating on it.

The main focus of male eyes. Lolz at the Raising Heart lines.

Decal layer upon layer. Liked the magic circle. The rear stablizer is painted brown to represent Nanoha's hair. The color fail. Wrong one, but no better spraycan in market.

It occured to me recently that copyright issues may be a wee problem. Hence, future ita-planes will feature the studio/manga-ka/artist name like this example, wherever possible. This is doujin work, after all.

OMAKE~!
Joke pic. Something's logically wrong with the pic. Anyone venture a guess? It's pretty obvious, other than the 'cracks'.

A banner day.
Prize haul from an official plastics modelling competition held in Singapore last June. Miku won Senior Category 4th + Most Creative, while Nanoha snagged Senior 2nd.

That is officially, one of the coolest things I've seen all year. Great work!
Thanks. Coming from you, it's worth a lot.
Wait till you see her wing-mate..
Those are AWESOME! ^^
thanks
>_< Those are so cool!
You really have great skills man..
aw shucks its nothing. Just another Frenzied Dream.
Ooohh hohoho, I would really like to see more of your works man.
Arguably the most powerful fighter on Earth :3 STARLIGHT BREAKER!
Oh? How about Riot Zanber? fu fu fu fu
Most impressive, I like these a lot :D
Did you print your own decals, or were they store bought? It's similar to what I was aiming for with my 109, but my decals didn't come out as good as these.
I do both - commercially available decal sheets from ita-sha model kits and self-print.
The only WW2 plane I wanna do is a Louise Valiere ZERO fighter XD
Hehe, a Louise A6M... now that I'd like to see as well- and if it's anything like this it'll be awesome :D
And if I may pester you with a couple of quick questions, when you print your own sheets, what printer do you use (laser/inkjet?) and do you have problems with the image being printed with 'cracks' in?
Sorry for asking daft things like this, but I'm aiming to buy my own printer for the next batch of transfers I make.
unfortunately I print custom decals at a Print Shop. They have some Waterslide Decal technology. But it flakes easily. Care is needed.
As for inkjet printers, I really don't know how the inkjet ink can withstand water. Although blank sheets are available, WHITE as a color isn't printable on a CLEAR decal sheet.
The paper I have (both white and clear) needs a coating or two of a clear coat lacquer (got some from the local auto-shop that does the trick - hard part is getting an even coating).
I had to mix and match between the papers on mine, although I mostly stuck with the white backed sheets and spent a lot of time with a scalpel cutting around the edge of the image. A local print-shop did the printing for me, but I had to supply the paper - hence the reason I'm looking into my own printer.
Thanks for your time replying though, I guess I'll have to see what printers are available in my budget range and see how transfers turn out with that.
Ic. good luck on that, I don't trust coating on vulnerable prints. Somehow I think it will dissolve still.
"Out for lunch, back in 5" ;)
Could this be what you mean?
heh heh heh... the least said, dear Neko.
For those still guessing, the plane isn't exactly a drone..
All I can say... Me want to buy it! XD
other then that, awesome work!
Oh, so we have a Nanoha fan here... heh heh. You should attempt it yourself. The ita-sha model kit is still available.
Im very terrible at these kind of things. Tried it before ages ago and didnt have the patience for it. Maybe in the future...
Famous last words - maybe in the future...
The TIME IS NOW!
Gorgeous!!! Though there needs to be a Fate Nighthawk!!! and a Loli one at that... (^.^) You know the black and yellow would be perfect.
black and yellow is definitely Fate's colours. Tho they match Yami too
Cool
hur hur hur
Ita-plane awesomeness
i luv the concept
That is one mighty fine Nanoha ita-plane.
wait for Fate
This mod is very cool~ If only I had modelling prowess and.. a big room.. i'd be making these too ^^
I remember attempting to make these types of skins for Lock On Flaming Cliffs game.
I posted about it here back then but, since the figure.fm database reformat(?) it was lost.. together with all the other past member articles.
All that was left about it was this video demo i did.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgR63UkCPLc
Virtual is sometimes better than real..
This is actually a very nice mod! Nice job XD
10Q
It's awesome!
thanks~
