AnimeDetour is over...
...and I am very tired. (x_x)
My camera's flash card corrupted and I lost most of the pictures I took and could recover only a few thumbnails. All I have left are some poor camera phone snaps. It's a pity, since some of the cosplayers were excellent. T_T
It was a good con overall, though — some interesting panels, plenty of loot and well-done demonstrations and performances.
Was anyone else there? Maybe we can coordinate attendance next time.

One of the few clear cosplayer images that survived the card failure — first picture on the card, actually....

Taiko drum performance. There was a also a very impressive display of proper old-school swordsmanship (planning to join that dojo, myself) and Okinawan karate.

Ah, a reminder of the loss: a whole series of individual and group cosplay photos.... All I have now are fading memories. T_T

Hmmm.. Have you try use this software EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional.
I already try it and it works well for corrupt data or loss data.
I hope it helps you out..
Used every tool in my recovery arsenal — which is formidable — and the data was simply too corrupted to recover anything coherent. This time, it seems to be beyond hope.
Aww, that sucks!! I've had that happen to me before when I was using a cheap compact flash memory card on my DSLR. Now the only brand I use is Sandisk. They have not failed me so far and they are extremely fast. The Extreme III series even came with a data recovery software. Well, it seems like you had fun at the con.
I think it actually was the result of an old bad battery: uneven power output. C'est la vie.
Woohoo, Anime Detour was fun! You went to the Taiko drum performance as well? That was amazing! The ladies were very talented. ^^ It's too bad your camera lost all of your photos...they would've been fun to see. D:
I commuted to the con from home — a 45 minute drive — and got a late start that day so I only got to see the last few moments of the performance.
As for the photos, there is lesson in this: download the contents of the card regularly and make the sure the batteries are fresh and charged....
Haha, Detour is always so much fun! Did you dress up? Maybe I saw you around. I was part of the Castle Crasher's group cosplay (I'm the blue one).
I think I had a photo with your group in it, but I am not sure. (^ω^)
I didn't dress up myself, having little time to really prepare for this con this year (and no plans for cosplay in any event) — I only wore the head of a zombie pup... (-_^)
Oh, haha, too bad you lost your photos ;_; Can't wait for next year's!
If I am lucky, maybe I can hook up with some of the local otaku groups and won't be stuck going alone next year.
