My First Figures Directly From Akihabara

Posted by Mischievous Tengu [www]

On my second outing to Akihabara I finally acquired my first ever figures as on my first outing I made a crucial mistake when looking for them (If you want you can read more about that little fupar here). But this time I was successful having learnt from my past experience.

Reimu Hakurei my first figure (^ω^)

When I saw her I just had to have her, what an amazing colour and the pose seems so fluidic. Made by Griffon Enterprises and sculpted by i-con. Defiantly will try to acquire their whole Touhou figure series.

Ranka Lee working on the best construction site in history. I believe she has a bigger sister version which I am on the look out for but haven't seen it yet.

Not related to the figure but still :-

They should replace all of the construction work signs with this.

On a side note while wondering around Akihabara I found some sketchbooks which from my observations seem to be some form of primitive lagging communication device between comrades who write message or draw images to communicate. Some of them are amazingly good, one I particularly liked :-

Sakuya Izayoi, if only I could draw like this. Found this in White Canvas, I think.

Yoko Littner from Gurren Lagann by Good Smile Company. Haven't actually seen Gurren Lagann yet but I do like this video:-

And I have yet to be able to resist a girl with a electromagnetic rifle.

I can see Yoko having many adventures.

Thanks, your words of wisdom persuaded me to buy the Gurren Langann DVD 1 (not that I needed much encouragement (^ω^) ). Just watched the first episode and it was great, I think I'm in love (with Yoko that is).
