MG Gundam Ez8 - WiP

Work in Progress

Comrade Arein was nagging me to put up some pics of what gunpla I currently had on the workbench; an MG RX79[G] Ez8 Gundam.

I guestimate it to be at around 70% completion; left with only cleaning the seam lines, applying the decals, and some light weathering. For the seam lines, as there's this really bad seam between the front and rear halves of the upper torso, chances are I'll be using some putty and then painting it over to match the paint. for the rest I was practicing with what Gunpla builder extraordinaire, DC23, had shown in his White glint seam line tutorial. I may require some experience with the said method.

I do plan on applying some panel lining wherein I'll be misting it after wards with a thin layer of light sand/flat earth mix. I'm thinking of also applying some plastic piping and maybe customizing a large capacity airfilter to distinguish it from non-desertized units.

Here Figma Canaan introduces her new best buddy.

Definitely curious on what the completed project will look like. Still looks good for an incomplete project too !

Definitely not the most handsome of fellows, the actual design anyway, but it looks like you didn't sand the nub marks at all before starting which is a waste. The best thing about painting your own kit is that you can really get rid of those nasty little bastards.

Well, they were pretty much treated and mobilized like tanks in the series. ^^

Get stencils and give this baby a camo design! Very guerilla color scheme.
