Customized Battle Damage Exia

This is my completed customized battle damaged version of the MG Exia -Ignition Mode-. My first Gunpla in about over 10 years ^^; Took about 3 days on it from start to finish. Im pretty satisfied with the results, and think it looks way better this way ^^

I am surprised why you did not choose the repair parts for the damaged look.
By the way, when you commented "busted shield, thats what they are for", I was thinking....hmm... I supposed so but shields are meant to be scratched, damaged....anything but penetrated. XD
my idea was to try and make realistic(ish) damage with Exia being in a huge battle, but not being destroyed like the repair version. just my personal preference ^^
shields can only deflect so much when taking on a horde of mobile suits ^^;
Another thing I noticed about your marvellous work is that you put more damage in areas which would later be replaced with Repair parts. ^_^

same here, i was only able to start again because im temporarily without work for a few months ^^; but i found this kit very refreshing and fun to assemble!
