MegaHouse gives us the busty top Idol, Miki Hoshii, from THE IDOLM@STER series in gorgeous 1/7 scale form.

Released back in April, MegaHouse's Miki have a beautiful sculpt, great paint job, and a glittering outfit that draws your attention to her. I really like Nekohouse's simplistic approach to her stage outfit, yet the details are there to be seen.
Overshading and the black line painted on the inside of her mouth aside, MegaHouse's Miki looks stunningly beautiful.

Lovely details on the hair. She's the only one with multiple layers in my collection.
I think she is the best looking Miki figure out there.
MegaHouse's Brilliant Stage Miki and Max Factory's Anticipating New Star Miki. Which do you prefer?
I prefer the Max factory one,but the face and hair looks better on the
Megahouse version i think.
They both look pretty sweet tough:)
Many will go with MF's version because she's more "accurate" to what she looks like in the game. I just like the extra details MegaHouse put into her design such as the finely toned body showing on her stage outfit and the 3D heart pendant.
But they're both really good Miki figures.
I like both of them. I prefer the Max Factory's face, but the MegaHouse's one looks more detailed and her hair is great. Hard to choose!
If you are one who values her "accuracy", then you should choose Max Factory. It comes with a Nekomimi set as well.
But if you prefer more details, go with MegaHouse's version. You can't lose either way if you like Miki. Or you can just get them both like me. ^^;;;
I purchased the Max Factory version quite a while back but I must admit, I slightly prefer Megahouse's.
At the time, MF's New Star Miki was a step above her brunette Awakening alternative (IMO) and both were the only extant Miki PVCs. Not that I completely regret buying her, just I find more refined subtleties in Megahouse's rendition such as the eccentricity of her hair (compared to the uniform glob on MF Miki), her stunningly subdued metallic mint green one piece, the multicolored irregularity of her glitter compared to MF's uniform chrome, etc. etc.
... though I'm more of an Iori fan to begin with...
I have all three Mikis, and I think they each have their own charm. But I do prefer MegaHouse's version because of the extra details as well.
The next Brilliant Stage Idolm@ster releases are Iori and Chihaya...those will go fast. Iori's eyes looks kinda weird on that one, but then again, that's what I said with Miki before she was released. ^^;;
I would say Max Factory as my preference; love how much *hotter* she looks in Megahouse's, as well as the shaded hair, but I really value accuracy and - more mportantly - the extra shading really really bugs me.
But man, the details on Megahouse's... x_x Just look at the ribbon's seams on the bottom of her shorts. Max Factory's is flat and even, while Megahouse's is more realistic.
