For a very starter compressor.. it'll do just fine I'm sure. The Mr. series of equipment usually is very good stuff. I wouldn't expect it to be able to do hours of work, but for a starter compressor to see if Airbrushing is your thing it'll do, and its price is fairly decent.
That'll do job just fine. Just be sure you get a double action airbrush to go with it.
Double actions brushes are great!, but dangerous to learn on in my opinion.. its usually best to start with a single action airbrush and then later on when skill has increased move up to a double action.
Thats just my take on it though, know lots of people who've jumped in with both feet and done amazing things. ^_^
what does the double action airbrush do anyway compared to the normal 1
In a single action airbrush.. the trigger controls the amount of paint only.. air pressure is a set amount. In double action airbrushes the trigger controls both the amount of air coming through the valve and the amount of paint. Double action is pretty much standard anymore. And most double action airbrushes can be set up to perform in a single action mode.
