Now a Nyan Type Loyalist

Nyan Type wants you to know just what their latest issue is about, fanservice. The girls on the cover are from the latest "almost h-anime" called Kiss X Siss.

It's very eyecatching but I must say this. It was VERY embarrassing walking up the register with this issue. ^^;

As I went through the various pictures, it seems like they dropped the "censorship by steam" and went with the more clever ways to hide the "naughty bits".

Of course, when hiding the naughty bits, Nyan Type made sure to show everything they could without having to slap a 18 or older sticker on it.

This is the kind of daring stuff that I wish Megami did more often. It might be my imagination, but ever since the international attention that certain H-titles got, Megami has seemed to have gotten tamer.

Not Nyan Type I love this issue! ^_^

Included with the Volume 7 Nyan Type issue is an "Best of Anniversary issue". This is a short (around 20 pages) extra that showcases some of the best posters that were featured in the last 6 issues.

Also included are some very small clear folders (more like clear cards). The Nyan Type issue comes with the bottom 2.

The top two were extras given to me by the staff from Akihabara Gamers. Sometimes Gamers will do nice things like this for foreigners (who often don't have a point card).

A took a few pics of my favorite ones in the Anniversary book.

There was a heavy focus on Haruhi and Nagato in the extra book. Not that I'm complaining. :3

Back to the actual Nyan Type issue, we continue to see more fanservice.

This issue was about 90% fanservice and 10% normal shots of the girls. A very nice formula. :3

More cleverly hidden "eyes"

I'd say around 90% of these girls are from animes I have not seen yet. ^^;;

I've just been so busy that the only new animes I have kept up with are K-ON, Kiss X Siss, and Angel Beats.

Nyan Type was nice enough to provide buyers with an extremely large Nanoha poster that shows of her deliciously flat chest (DFC).

Here's the other half. The poster is so large that I couldn't fit it all into one frame.

More "eyes"

As with all Nyan Type/Megami magazines, these images you see are on centerfold style posters (also called Pin Up posters). Every time I do one of these magazine reviews I have to be patient because I use a camera. Glare is the enemy.

More barely hidden "eyes".

There's not as much loli in this issue and is mostly oppaitastic.
So, depending on your tastes, you may be disappointed with this issue.

For those who like VERY large "eyes".

There is a such thing as too big in my opinion. ^^;

The K-ON girls in sailor style T-shirts.
Well, either sailor shirts or prison ones. ^^;

I tried my best to get both girls in this shot (with pantsu). It was very difficult with the glare and the sheer size of the poster.

And some Biri Biri.
I bet someone on Sankaku Complex is already working on a cloth-less photoshopped version. ^^;

Some Strike Witches. Another anime I still have to see. ^^;

I think the dubbed boxset just came out in America. I'll have to pick that up when I go on leave.

And lastly, a "almost not safe for figure.fm" shot that was actually in the anniversary book.

Overall, the perversions and fanservice have been elevated to new heights in volume 7 of Nyan Type. The steam is gone and there is a reliance of cleverly placed hair or hands to hide the more naughty bits. It's a outstanding issue and because it comes with a large sexy Nanoha poster, it is easily forgiven for the lack of lolis. Recommended! Punynari Score 4.7out of 5.0
