Iron Miku Suiting Up!
Even though Iron Man 2 has been released in Asia for a week now, us North Americans only got to see it today, or midnight last night. I didn't want to go anywhere near the midnight showing :P Plus I was still finishing up this silly Iron Miku video at midnight last night. I did go see Iron Man 2 the morning after at 10 AM on the IMAX big screen!
This was inspired by Kodomut who played around with his Kagamiku and Drossel Figma so much that a lot of us (including myself) wanted to get a Drossel when there was a shortage! He single handedly created demand for Drossel, lol.
Anyway instead of just pictures, I thought to commemorate Iron Man 2's release by making a stop motion animation of Miku suiting up like Tony Stark did in the first movie! ... Unfortunately I'm too lazy and too busy to do stop motion, so I just did a slideshow sort of thing instead :P
The horror... The horror! I was experimenting how much of the pieces I can take off from Miku and Drossel each and see if they fit. I actually enjoyed trying to figure out the limits of what pieces can be taken off without breaking them ^^; And they fit quite well actually.

Maybe Miku is suiting up for the purposes of what's going on in the first panel. I actually just took random shots and compiled them into 4koma. It strangely works ^^; And Haruhi's plotting her revenge!

So after seeing it on the first day at 10 AM... I liked it, but I think it didn't have the feel of the first one. I think Justin Hammer was really annoying... But I guess that means the actor, Sam Rockwell, did his job too well ^^; Black Widow was lookin' hot! War Machine and Iron Man are freaking badasses! I have to say some of the science is a bit complicated or felt like it came out of nowhere compared to the first movie, but I guess I should stop thinking while watching a blockbuster movie... ^^; Be sure to stay after the credits for some nerdgasm, lol.

LoL I guess it sorta does, but it's actually a background from inside the box of Drossel Figma. It's where Drossel lives in Fireball ^^
My bad. ^_^ It's just the style reminds me of FF7.

Thanks! For a while they actually had a few Drossel in stock after it was sold out for months. I know where I can get one in store here ^^ I'd love to see it on MMD!

Hahaha Great idea... Now I need a second Drossel Figma to customize with all sorts of weapon! On second thought, I don't have that much money to buy another Drossel. ^^;;;
I am reminded how it was thought that Drossel was a mecha-miku when images first appeared... who knew it would prove true? (OωO)
I wanted to do this earlier, but I wanted to time it so that it coincides with the release of Iron Man 2 ^_^
