CC from Code Geass

This CC is just a painted Gathering item from E2046.
Being from less than major producer, there were quite some kinks to work out (like imperfect finger alignment).
I even sent it back after initial receiving to fix some paint jobs :(
Anyway after the fixing it is much better to look at and we are generally happy with it now.

Dramatically lighted from behind ;)

This is general view at entire piece from both sides.

I have this one, along with another C.C. by the Gathering as well. You can see her in one of my posts here on figure.fm. I don't think either one has her face down pat, but the rest of the figure make up for it. Nice pics!
Thanks!
I agree the face is somewhat strange. Well, given the selection of CC figures on the market, the only other option was not to buy anything, but the wife insisted we should not pas on this one, so here we are.
Let's see how they turn out with the Urd & World of Elegance now, if that one would disappoint me, I guess I will never ever buy Gathering works anymore.
(and yes, I don't do the kits stuff myself too, but not because of time. Rather because I cannot do anything worthwile with my hands at all).
I bought an original kit of this back at wonfest 07. Cost me an arm too.
I quite liked the face on this 83•C kit but the balance is just horrible. And it was not fun painting everything all White.
My original painted version is floating around figure.fm as one of the earliest posts.
I also have an original yoiko Q kit but that one is yet to be built.
I also have urd & world of elegance on preorder but I think that may very well be my last gathering purchase. I don't feel that the line is value for money unless you go for one of the complex kits and I want to try my hand at doing belldandy and skuld on my own. If I can find them.
@verygreen: take it from me, painting these kits yourself isn't so much about skill but more about experience. The more you do, the better you get. You should see some if my early works. Not really a good showing if what I am capable of now.
I was hoping they would mass-produce this figure, but that seem unlikely now.
I'm a bit skeptical to E2046,are they even legal?
You're pics look great bye the way.
err... bit of a gray area there. Even more so than fansubs or anything else you can think of in legal limbo.
Technically all resin kits of anime characters are illegal as the sellers haven't been given permission from the owning companies to create such items. However, those companies provide a limited license for the sale of such items at events like wonderfestival. Essentially, they are legal for a day!
Now, on to E2046. Basically, their original "business" was to aquire a resin kit from such events and then make copies of said kits and sell them at a lower costs. Most kit makers, including myself, frown apon this to varying degrees as it takes money away from the original makers, but the original resin kits are only made in very limited numbers and the makers eventually stop making them, so places like E2046 are the only places you can find some really old (but still good) resin kits for sale.
More recently, they have provided a high quality painting service (gathering) which has collected equal amounts of praise and disgust (as they are good quality but the original maker of the kit sees nothing from their sales) and completely original works (ori), which are generally approved of.
So,in short, E2046 has a somewhat legal and not so legal side to it, but the stigma of when it was just a recast (bootleg kit) seller remains.
