I’m so pleased to say I acquired this figure, after all Reimu is my favorite Touhou girl. Interesting thing is that this was originally a garage kit that Gift turned into a PVC release.

I also noticed, has there been a decrease in figure posts lately? May be it's just me, otherwise I will happily contribute this one.
Lovely photos. I was tempted to buy this Reimu figure, but I just decided the face wasn't what I would have liked for Reimu. Gift did a decent job nonetheless, I love how they sculpted her flowing skirt. They also did a great job on the base- very simple but perfect.
The more I looked at it the more it seemed it wasn't Reimu like, although still a nice face. Hopefully other figure makers will step in to make more Tohou figures.
Beautiful figure. I've been looking at this figure for a while. I opted for the Griffon version a while back and have had a hard time justifying another Reimu for the shelf. At least until I finish up getting the rest of the Griffon line. The OCD completist in me demands it. I think Gift does a great job, though. Side by side, the Gift version is probably superior. Her face has a lot of expression and the paint scheme is very warm. Congrats!
I was actually gonna get the Griffon one at some point, but at the time it was out of stock. Then when this was posted for sale I opted for it since I wanted to get the original garage kit when I saw it in some even coverage.
In the end this is an excellent figure for Reimu or Tohou fans in general.
Holy crap the drunk face looks sooo funny. :P
