My Imaging Armory - Panasonic FZ28

This is my super zoom bridge camera - Panasonic DMC-FZ28.

Bought it in February 2009 for SGD 678.00

The major features is decent - 10MP, 18x optical zoom, DSLR like body but very light about 486g.

Bought this camera to basically learn more about photography and those creative "PASM" mode.

My first digital camera is also from Panasonic, DMC-LZ7 (with 7MP and 6x optical zoom). I am not an expert but I believe that the Leica lens used by Panasonic is quite good and I read a few articles written by expert around the internet saying the same.

Additionally the review of this FZ28 is basically positive here and there. Some even said that this is the best in its class at that time around - in terms of overall features and lower price - though some would surely insist that Canon SX1 is much better than this camera (in terms of image quality maybe but not price).

Nonetheless, I'm pretty happy with this camera, the image quality is fine... it's just my skill that is not good enough maybe and I still need to learn and practice more plus I don't have any skills in using Adobe Photoshop... really envy those who can do magic with it...

If you are a newbies looking for a camera... I can't say much more to recommend this camera to you. It's powerful super zoom camera with great image quality, you don't have to spend extra for zoom power (if you need it that is) and it's very light. Canon and Nikon might be the big 2 in camera market but hey, Danny Choo also use Panasonic as 1 of his camera...
