The PSD file for the current header is below:-
http://www.figure.fm/cgm/ecommerce/figure/etc/figurefm_header_banner.psd.zip
Its a CS4 Photoshop file but should open in any version?
Was created in Fireworks which I completely recommend for web graphics but it does not seem to be so popular.

You can pop in your photos between the white glowing lines or completely redesign the banner - its up to you. The photos need to be of high quality and stuff taken on an SLR are welcome.
Want to see all your dollfie daughters or multiple images of her in the header? Want to have some sort of 4koma of your figmas? Its up to you.

The layer "Path" is a mask that provides the rounded corners. If you don't know how to mask then leave it and I will do it.
Leave space for me to put your url as I want to unify the fonts. I am also going to create a "Contributors" page where you will be credited too. And don't forget - the figure makers are reading and may take an interest in what you are doing ;-)

When you are done, just upload as usual as jpeg and compress to 95% - any lower and the quality starts to look bad. Mirai Gaia will resize to 900px wide but the original is on the server which I will nab. Upload as many as you want but do so in a single post using the multiple image upload functionality.
No deadlines so submit when you have time - but the ones submitted first will probably get priority ^^; I cant guarantee to choose all headers though.
Headers will rotate randomly once uploaded.

Looking forward to seeing some cool headers and dont forget to mention your url and tag your submission "header."

Just like dannychoo.com where I had artwork from you in the header, I would like to create the opportunity for you to have your figure photos in the figure.fm header.

    I might give this a shot once I settle back down at home. Have to start from scratch though, since I haven't really even started figure photography yet. ^^;

I highly recommend Fireworks as well.
Two features which work better than Photoshop are ..
    Splicing images
and text rendering. (always seems to be a lot smoother and polished)
What do you like about Fireworks Danny?

While I probably won't make much of note, I do know that there are some superb photographers on this site, so I am looking forward to what they make! Thanks for setting this header item up- you're going above and beyond in allowing your users to interact with the site, and I think that's great.

Oh, and regarding your comment, "And don't forget - the figure makers are reading and may take an interest in what you are doing ;-)"
