My Video Game Collection

the best of my video game collection.

left to right, top to bottom;

TOP SHELF

U.S. and JPN copies of the SEGA SATURN
Magic Knight RAYEARTH video game,
and original copies of both SS Sakura Wars
1 and 2.

most of my all-time PS2 favorites.
including the first Sakura Wars title
to see a U.S. release (about time!!)
"Sakura Wars; So Long my Love"

i really need ArTonelico III for the PS3
to round out my tonelico collection...

my small but growing SNK NEO GEO
AES cart collection, including the
launch titles NAM-1975 and MAGICIAN LORD,
and JPN copies of the legendary titles
SAMURAI SPIRITS (SHODOWN) 1 and 2,
as well as FATAL FURY 2...

MIDDLE SHELF

all of my favorite SEGA GENESIS/MEGA DRIVE
games, most of which are from my childhood.
i am gradually replacing them all with
their japanese MD equivalents.
my GENESIS is my very first,
bought for me by my parents in christmas
of 1989, when the console first hit U.S. market.
as such, it totally lacks the regional lockout
that hinders later iterations of the console...

BOTTOM SHELF

bottom row, most of my favorite PS1 titles,
including both of the PS1 WORKING DESIGNS LUNAR titles,
and a euro PAL version of the TAITO
puzzle game "Puchi Carat"
(need to get the JPN version as well!!)

there is also the balance of my JPN
SEGA SATURN games,

(i play them on a U.S. SATURN, with a GAME SHARK in place to override regional lockout)

a HuCARD copy of the NEC PC Engine/TURBO GRAFX
game "Wonder Momo"
and my only two NINTENDO DS titles,
"Princess Debut" and
"Rhapsody; A Musical Adventure"

i also have a large collection of NES, SNES, and
NIN 64 titles taking up two full drawers
of my adjacent dresser...

indeed! STAR OCEAN started for me back with "THE SECOND STORY" on the PS1.
i have completely cleared both it, as well as ST 3 up there.
NO EASY TASK, what with the hellish bonus dungeons ans all...
