Help Needed with Dollfie Surgery!!

Posted by Luther

It's a sight every Dollfie parent hopes to never to have to see: their daughter in pieces on the operating table! Sasara isn't broken, but she's in pieces and I can't get her back together! T_T

Here's where the trouble began: the screw here came loose and her lower leg fell off! It was easily screwed back in, but now I can't get the thigh back on!

I had to remove the thigh in order to screw the pieces back together. But now that the skeleton of the leg is back together, I can't get the thigh back on!

I tried removing the foot and the calf, but this part on the skeleton of the leg can't fit through this hole in the thigh, so I can't slip the thigh back on from the bottom.

I think I need to approach it from the other end, but there's the torso in the way! What do I do?? T_T

Yes take off the leg skeleton to get the thigh on from the other side. Use a hair drier to soften the vinyl to help pulling it out if needed.

Than unscrew the knee screw. And heat up the thigh with a dryer and it should slide right on. ^_^ good luck~

By Unscrewing the knee screw I mean take off the knee and the calf skeleton part completely so she has like a nub than the thigh should slide on when its heated up. ^^'

Heating up the thigh a bit with the hair dryer helps a lot when replacing body parts on a dollfie. I've had to do it a couple times and it does suck but gets easier with experience.

Just happened the same ot my Nia. I didn't pull out this joint since it was too hard. I just heated up the tight cover and put it in by force rotating it to the right and left

I pulled our this joint, it was easy, then put the tight cover, and inserted the rest of the skeleton through the other hole of the tight cover. It worked well.
