My Kagamiku's Accident. Sobs.
Hi all!
A bit of sad news today.
One of my Kagamiku's hair joints broke and I couldn't fix it anymore. It broke for the 2nd time actually, and I couldn't fix it this time.
So Miku only has one tail now. TT_TT I don't know if the look suits her, but I'll still try to take her pictures beautifully. She's my first and only nendoroid (at the moment. Being an always broke-student sucks.), and I love her.

Can't really see the broken tail here. Its under her. Haha. The one over there is the still-good one.
She's only left with one tail now. The pictures looks weird since I take it from a bad angle. :( Anyone have any ideas to help me fix her??? :(

aw I know how you feel.........for both of always broke and got your favorite broke (double broke ouch >.<)
for suggestion....well....buy another kagamiku? or paint every single green parts to yellow and you got neru
Haa...buy another one? I'm gonna need to save up again. Seriously being a student with no income really sucks.
The paint ideas is really good though. I'm going to need airbrush equipment. LOL.
Is it possible to take one of the extra neck joints (from the other faces) and paint it green to act as a substitute neck joint?
Don't think so..the other tails joint is stuck inside. And I can't get it out because of the glue from before's fixing. *sob3*

try using a cutter pen or needle to break-off the glue of the peg particle that is stuck and wobble it until it comes off. or you can drill a hole (i don't like this idea) to erase the stuck peg and do what jabes said.
I tried breaking of the glue like u said, but its not working. Does warm water helps to melt super glue, u think?
and er, I don't think I want to drill a hole in Miku's head, but thanks anyway.
Ouch. I'm very protective of my first Nendoroid, but her stand is now broken. Glue doesn't work very well so she's borrowing another stand

warm water? i dunno. try asking a super glue remover liquid. i'm sure most hardware store has it. but if you ask me, if you were able to break the glue, does it get wobbly? if it does, then try harder. patience is a good thing. but can you post the broken part so I can get a clear idea on your progress?
or... you know those small hook thingees that dentists use? it's much me effective than needles. about the drill thing... (although i don't like the idea too)... well, you're not gonna drill kagamiku's head... just find a size that can erase off the peg... although I'm not sure about your dexterity... so, let's use it as a last resort... well, my sister has a nendoroid of kagami's twin sister... er... can't you reach the peg from the inside? anyways, warm water might have an effect on the textured paintjob... and if ever you get the glue remover solution, only use it on the glued area as little as possible... because i don't know what it does to paints...
I've been trying to get the glue off with a needle but its starting to chip some of the part off, so I'm gonna stop with the needle. I'll try finding the super glue remover liquid later and post it for you to see. Thanks so much for the advice shinkonryu. :)
n yeah, I guess drilling is out of the question. No experience and I might destroy her head all the way.

I know exactly how you feel my Drossel figma is completly broke. She was fake tho. -_-' You could selotape it on
