MCM Expo London!
Yes, its that time of year again!!!
This year, the MCM expo will be held on the 29th and 30th of may.
Here is an extended invite to all those in the UK who are goin to the Lodon MCM Expo this year.
To all those who don't know what the MCM Expo is, its basically a media expo with absolutly tons of anime and manga stuff to buy and is most possibly the largest in the UK.
If there are any dc.com or figure.fm users who would be goin, please comment below so we could get like some kind of gathering and get a couple photos and what not. (Bring ya Figures!!!! ^^)

It should be fine, the second day is better for dollfies because the first day gets packed, but if you do go i'll have a look out for you and your beautiful musume. <3
On the second day it should be fine to bring your musumes. (Sorry if you got two posts D; )

How packed is packed? Like... dangerously? And would I be missing out on anything?
That's if I can go of course. Need to check with the parents and if I can bring anyone else along.
Not really dangerously packed but it is quite noticably packed as it gets further in the day. I'll be in bright red shorts! ^^ (As per usual)
I will probably be carrying my Kagami figma and one other (probly Rin) Nendo with me.

My friend and I are there for both days so feel free to go anyday.
If your there to have a laugh, sunday is the day to go but if ur there to go exhibit, Saturday. So i'm there for both days for those who wanna meet and greet. ;)

I'll be there on the Saturday as always, I've gone to every LMCM since May 2005, lol (apart from last October when I couldn't make it. ~_~)

Looking likely that I will be in attendance on the Saturday as part of the Dtoid UK group.
*might* pick up a few things while I'm there but it's unlikely. Probably won't be bringing any figures either. Resin kits and large crowds don't really mix well. I guess I could bring Sheryl with me but I think that will require some poking from other people before I willingly do so.
I'll be going the saturday, I usually go sundays cos its quieter... but theres a (Misha's) Minion Meetup on the saturday :3 So I'm braving the masses of people XD Also braving the masses to see Walter Bishop & Astrid from Fringe. So can't wait XD
Might bring a figma or two... but it depends how big my bag is really XD
You may know who I am, you may not... but odds are I'll be wearing a plaid or check shirt or something. Might wear my LOST 'I'd hit that (every 108 minutes)' tshirt, but depends how warm it is on the day... wore my Chun 'Tare Tare Danny' tshirt last october :3.
I'll be there saturday AND sunday, I can't bring figmas because I has none D; But I might be buying my first ever figma at the con! *Squeal!* Ill be wearing a haruhi suzumiya cosplay, either Nagato or Haruhi on one day, THEN Rukia or Yachiru. I'll have to write down everyone's numbers (Y)

I'm still deciding whether the Saturday or Sunday. It sounds like a lot of cool things could be happening on the Saturday, like cosplays and whatnot, but if it's as busy as you say it is.. might not be best for my Sakura ^^;

I've also got a 60cm tripod carrying case coming in the mail. With a bit of wrapping and padding - it'll hopefully prove to be a nice 'hibernation chamber' for Sakura!

My friend and I are having a bit of trouble figuring out how we actually get there.
We can get to Stratford, and then onto the DLR - but what station should we ultimately end up at? What entrance? Road? Anything?

The station you would like to go to is "Custom House for ExCeL". This has its own entrance straight to the convention center.
From Stratford, there are 2 ways to get there. You can take the DLR southbound to Poplar then change to the Eastbound DLR train OR you can go from Stratford Canning Town via the Jubilee Line Southbound then change to the DLR.
Jubilee line way is faster as there is only 2 stops.
Kinda only use the DLR way only as my backup if 1 way is closed on the day itself.

I'm going to be there, its my first time, and its a bit fortunate that i am going as my G/F booked tickets to see Black Eyed Peas at the O2 for the Friday night, and she booked a hotel at Customs House (2 min walk from the ExCeL Centres door). she didnt know about the show at the time. how's that for luck. also my birthday is a week after the show and my G/F has said she doesnt mind buying me some stuff from the show for that, plus i also have a decent amount of cash saved for it.
i too have early entry tickets.
