Mangamerica
So a while ago I was at Genericon picking up random bits and bobs from the swap meet, when I came across a few issues of a magazine called Mangamerica from '96. I wrote more about it here, but here's some highlights with some extra images that weren't in the article, just for you guys.

An ad for Project -Kon 7. I think they're up to Project A-Kon 21 these days.

Turns out weeaboos existed in the 90s as well!

If you think episodic blogging is tedious, wait till you read episodic magazine articles.

If Haruhi were a furry, this is what her Classifieds ad would look like.

Believe it or not, there was once a time where people liked MD Geist. If you've seen this "gem", you know why this is hard to believe

Evangelion had just ended. I wonder what those OVAs they mention were supposed to be though? Prolly just a rumor.

I have some old computergaming mags like these, advertising Commodores and Amigas. The only time in histyor games were distributed in magazines by giving you all the code for them... in basic. A whole game would cover 2 pages of code.
