Pre-Order Sale - SOLD

Posted by optimisticpenguin101 [www]

Hey people.

I am wanting to sell two items I have pre-ordered with AmiAmi.

I am unable to cancel pre-orders so I am hoping someone wants to buy them from me.

Since they are pre-order's, I would not expect the money until the items had arrived at my door, then I will ship them onto whoever buys them.

Okay the items are the Nendo Culture Festival playset A & B which come out next month. I would like to sell them together as a set. I have them pre-ordered at 1,450 yen each. They are pre-ordered as combo shipping (SAL) with another item and so I am not able to redirect postal address direct from Ami Ami. So I would like to sell them for their retail price which is 2,900 yen for both, plus the shipping it will cost me to ship them on from my country which will be 1,220 yen. So you're looking at 4,120 yen for the set.

And like I said before I do not expect the money until I have recieved the goods myself. But I wanted to post the sale up now to make sure that I can sell the goods on.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

please email me if you are interested at sara.fearon@optimisticpenguin.com

Thanks you

Sara ^.^

You can cancel pre-orders from Amiami. They don't really want you to but if you have to and you email them they'll cancel it for you without penalty. I think it's okay if you're not doing it a lot.

I think you get only 1 or 2 (Might of been an exception for me) chances, then they say they will close your account ^^;; Had to cancel some stuff myself.

yeah I don't really want to bother them as it does say in their faq's no cancelations. And I don't mind selling it on. It was my own fault for pre-ordering something that I wasn't sure I really wanted :P

I'm reluctant to order anything from Amiami because they don't like you canceling. But I guess that's how they can offer lower prices. I know for sure I want Saber Excalibur, but I never know if I'll get a traffic ticket in the future or something.

you should see the excuses i've given them
-my friend was at my house and accidentally pre ordered with my account instead of his
-oops i pre ordered the wrong thing
-my cat was walking on my key board and playing with my mouse
            etc.

i've canceled with them probably 9 times now but i also order -alot- so i dont know

lmao!! I've used similar excuses but my third request was granted with a warning that another cancel and they will have to close my account. They were still so nice about it though and I love them to death.

So basically, you get 1 cancel request for sure.

really?i already cancelled my orders more then three times there and i still can do ordering just fine.

just email then with very good reason why you would like to cancel the order: (eq: have a credit card issue and dont know when it would be fix etc etc) and you should be fine.

That's weird. I canceled a lot of times too and they never warned me. Granted, I do have quite a bit of orders but I would say I canceled at least 10 times by now.

You should see Otacute. I've tried canceling with them but they absolutely refuse to let you do it. Even with errors on their side they refuse.
AmiAmi lets you cancel based on how much you order. Hobby Search says they don't cancel and I've canceled at least 15 times but I also have ordered hundreds of times.

Otacute is hell to cancel through. I did cancel one thing but that's probably the only time they'll accept it and you need a really really good reason to cancel or else they'll say no.

Yeah, Otacute is brutal on canceling. I try not to order from them for that >.>

Hobby Search does allow cancellation. All you have to do is send them an email. It's right there in their FAQ:

Q: I'd like to cancel my order. What should I do?

A: To cancel your order, just give us your name, the item's name, its store code and the order number of the order that you wish to cancel in this form.

The only exceptions under which cancelation is not accepted are items that are already shipped, pre-order items which release notice is already sent to the customer, and items worth more than 20,000 yen.

This is truth! I've got at least 20 cancels on my account with Hobby Search, but proportionate to my actual orders that is nothing.

My experience with Amiami, if the item you've ordered being delayed from the original release schedule, they will accept cancel if you send them e mail regarding this delay.

Of course, I want to respect their policy. I always make sure myself if I really really wanted the item, so I don't have cancel it in the future.

My friend in Indonesia said this:
"Lebih baik menyesal sudah membeli, dari pada menyesal tidak membeli"
"Better to regret the purchase, rather than regret not buying"

Ofcourse, this only works with Nendoroid, and probably in Indonesia only XD

Hahaha, thanks for the comments guys it's amusing to hear peoples stories. I think I will still see if I can sell it to someone who really wants it, or if not I may have another use for it, as my websites 1st birthday is coming up :)
