      It works just like the way you see it in photo, to overcome the lack of ambient light getting into the shelves, I installed these LED strips.

    Saw it earlier on Twitter and I must saw it's indeed an impressive otaku haven. ^^

    Like how you arranged everything to maximize usable space. The led lighting for the figure and Dollfie displays is excellent.

    You should have done a Hikari Gendo style pose while at your desk though. =P

        Now, let's get all the fact together. According to a very reliable source of information, Dollfie Dream's target customer is actually "Japanese men" with disposable income. That's why majority of these Dollfie Dream are sculpted after popular bishoujo characters and eroge game heroines. I think it makes perfect sense that we like them ^^;

          "(japanese) men with disposble income". = Youngsters can't afford them, women are (nearly) unintrested.

            I wouldn't over generalize this though, as we have a fair number of female collectors here in figure.fm; since anime characters are liked by people of all ages and gender.

            But let's take a step further, doll collecting is traditionally regarded as feminine art. Why are grown men running around with 60cm doll? To me, they are highly articulated vinyl base bishoujo figure with inner plastic skeleton frame.

    Small bed and quite a small room... Though it's probably roomy if there weren't all those shelves, right? XD I think my main problem is that my bed's too big, so I don't have a lot of room to do anything >_<

      Well yeah, it's just a single bed because anything else would take up too much space. The room looks small because of the way I arranged things. It would have looked bigger if I rotate the desk toward the wall but I won't be able to see the TV thus defeating the purpose of being to keep as many things within my sight as possible.
