Finished MG Gundam MKII AEUG (2.0)
Tue 2010/05/25 04:01 JST
Finally finished my Gundam MKII AUEG mg kit.
It really is a nice kit with a lot of posability in its legs and of course the total design is awsome!
And it includes a base with flying engineers ^^

GET IN TO ME BELLY!!!

nice paint
how do you paint the line?
:D
There are special panel liners for that kind of things ;-).
And indeed, that lining + stickers make it wonderfull. Nice done!
Topcoooooaaaaat. Topcoat. It'll take away the plastic-y look. Great Mk. II, I live mine but the joints get really sloppy after a while of mid-air poses.
MkII is one of my favorite Gundams. This kit is excellent, though I have not made mine yet -_-;;
Real nice..
But the panel lines need some serious cleanup.. Looking all smudged on the closeup shots.
For the panellines I used the panelline gundam marker black.
@ Webster:
The legs of mine also get a bit sloppy in mid-air poses... I still need to try out top-coating on some 1/144 models before i will use it on a MG.
@ Arein:
There are idd a lot of smudges, but luckily you can't see them when he's standing in my cabinet :D. On the most places i've brushed away the excess marker with an eraser but I can't work really precisely with it. Do you have any suggestions?
I'd usually use the eraser technique along with a slightly wet cotton swab, don't put too much though as it might smudge up the lines rather than clean it.
Looks like yours doesn't have waist movement? ^^;
The waist can move, but I didn't use it in the photographs.
hi jeppa!
nice work there. good job!
i just want to know that whether you just apply topcoat with repaint process?
I didn' t use any topcoat, but you could also use a topcoat on a non-painted kit.
Very nice and clean!
hope i build my mkII titans better then my aeug. but nice mkII. like everyone else have said, just a bit of cleaning up on the panelines and topcoat and it will look wonders
