Mercedes - Alter

Mercedes comes from the game "Odin Sphere" (like Gwendolyn & Velvet). She is a young fairy who lives in Ringford forest. She is the daughter of the Queen Elfaria, and this Princess of the Fairy Race. First she is one of Odin Sphere Boss, but then, you can play with her. There is another version of Mercedes, made by Yamato, but she is more static and I prefer Alter work.
This figure is just amazing : Great sculpture, nice colors, amazing base ! All is right ! For the moment, she is my favorite 2010 figure, and I don't regret my purchase. Painting, sculpture, pose, base, everything stands out. Good thing they have re-release scheduled.
Wonder if they will re-release Gwendolyn, although those fragile looking wings scare me because they might break easily.
My Gwen has been fine so far. The wings are made out of a softer PVC, so it isn't brittle. It's somewhat bendable, and is also transparent.
This is definitely the best Mercedes. Much nicer than the Yamato version that I've had collecting dust in my shop for some time now.
