I just got an email that Anime Expo is only 5 weeks away and if my eyes aren't going blind I think I saw the name Danny Choo as one of the honored guest.
I bought tickets for AX this year though I am only attending 2 days. (Sat and Sun)
I went all 4 days last year and I had so much fun. XD (It was my first time)
Anyone going this year?

I really would like to attend the autograph session, but I think it may not work out with my work schedule...
I'll be there and so will my vinyl buddies, Yumiko, Namiko and Zetto.
Going all four days, went last year too. Pretty fun though I wasn't as otaku last year so I didn't buy much besides posters. THIS YEAR I AM DIFFERENT, THIS YEAR I WILL GO BANKRUPT! MUWAHHAHAHAHAA (listening to Gattai Nante Kuso Kurae from Gurren Lagann so I'm kinda pumping with adrenaline).
Thurs is AKB48 and Fri is Mayn/Megumi, looking forward to those two events the most. Honestly, my friend doesn't want to spend the extra money required for a hotel so he isn't going to Anime Expo and is going to Fanime instead. I looked at their line up of guests and honestly rofl'ed quite hard.
Last year, I brought a 8 gig memory card with me and my laptop and came back with 46 gigs of pictures. Look forward to the cosplaying this year, I'm probably going to be Sister from Arakawa but we'll see if I can get all my stuff ready.
I'm going to AX. I've been going since 2001 and it is my primary summer event. Looking forward to seeing Yuu Asakawa, voice actress for Motoko (Love Hina) Sakaki (Azumanga Daioh), and Luka Megurine (Vocaloid series) to name a few. And Danny Choo of course. I always have fun at AX.
5 WEEKS! Gotta catch up on anime watching. What series do you think will be big for cosplay this year?

Will only probably go to Fanimecon tmr, but I wish I can go to AX just for the sake to get to my favourite gunpla booth
Plan on going for all four days. I've been going for a couple of years. I am not too fond of the LA venue, but it's not horrible.
Seriously can't wait for this year though! A concert with megumi nakajima and may'n. The debut of the season of black lagoon and the series creator and MELL there as well. Sounds like an epic con!
I've been volunteering there for a few years now. Last year was pretty wack, since they had to change their main venue so quick. A guy I know that's gone for quite some time hasn't really liked it the last few years. This year seems to be getting a lot of big names, but it that hasn't really improved the rest of the con much.
Will be there with the Mrs and a few friends. Looking forward to the concerts (AKB48 and Macross) and finally meeting Danny in person
I will be going all 4 days with a friend. I've been going for few years now and it was pretty crazy last year! I'm really looking forward to many events and panels they're going to have this year. I won't be cosplaying, but I will bring my daughter with me. And of course I cannot wait to see Danny in person!! (^^)
