London MCM Expo Saturday DOA and DC meet

Was meeting up with fellow DOA friends and thought that combining this with the DC/ Figure.fm meet as well could be pretty cool. After all, we like figurines too and well, there are lot of Dollfies around this place.

Looks like you guys had loads of fun. However: how do you keep your Dollfie Dreams from staining? I take all kinds of trouble and keep certain colors off limits to prevent further stains on Yumiko and Zetto, and keep Namiko, my first brand new Dollfie, stain-free. How do you manage?
It was heaps of fun! Ready for repeat run in October! Unless folks wanna come to London before that ;P

Decided that if they stain they stain and at some point I will have to give them the massive zit creme treatment or get them a new body.
I bought them to dress them and I happen to love black ^^
I do put on wig caps though and try and avoid putting anything that would potentially stain anywhere near their faces as those are harder to get new ones of :D

Hey, I resent that! Besides oddly enough, it was the point and shoot which seemed to have the biggest issue with focusing!! I shut down after the 3rd camera

Sort of. Thanatos required a little time on the operating table (i.e. my desk surrounded by various tools and glue) but I did manage to get it back into 1 piece and not any worse for wear to the naked eye!

And thanks! Still learning to use this bloody camera so well, I brought back 100+ photos and only well, around 30 was worth keeping. Rest was a blur, over exposed/ under exposed, shaken, etc. :D

You'll definitely get better by shooting more and more photos (at least that's how I got brushed off my skills). I was a complete noob when I first started shooting with an SLR. Nyaa~ I cannot wait till AX @ Los Angeles (>_<).

Me and my girlfriend only go to the october Expo purely because I hate the heat! A couple of years ago I went to the DOA meet and found it was quite unplesent so we haven't bothered since.... but I'm not too good with people, though it looks like you had a good time!

Again, I think I have spoken to you before and again, I think you just had a really bad experience that you need to look past.
My first Expo was seriously crap too when it came to the DOA meet but I gave it another chance about a year later and it was awesome. Not the same crowd and everyone was super friendly. And still is!
I am hoping to be there in October and I seriously think you should keep in contact and join us for our little get together. There will be NO official DOA meet but there will be loads of doll people around. Do say hi!!! ^^
