How to destroy over 200 hard drives

So I've got over 200 hard drives that we need to destroy at work. Here is you challenge, "What would be the best way to destroy them all?"
If your suggestion is realistic and epic enough, we will do it and put it on you-tube.

Update: I like a lot of the suggestions. Unfortunately our supervisors will only let us do it the old fashioned way, sledge hammer, here is the video.

A normal person: Get a tool or hire someone for this situation.

An engineer: Create some sort of crazy invention to erase and destroy the hard drives.

The worst enemies of heat, magnetism, or physical damage. Suggestions for destruction via the 3 options? Magnetism - get some huge powerful magnets and run them around the harddrive, heat - find a microwave or oven you don't want and shove them in, or physical damage - there's nothing a good ol' sledge hammer can't fix.

Oh if your lazy just pour some gasoline or kerosene and watch it burn :P

Why can't you bring them home and make a massive server? I'd do that or don;t they allow you to bring it back?

Security Policies, so long as the magnetic disks are intact, there's the possability that you can recover data.

Not worth it. Together they are about 9GB each and they were used for two server towers which had 1TB storage in RAID

First, go to a bay and use a magnetic crane on them. Then use the vehicle they use to make road ( http://www.hangton.com.vn/upload_photo/offer/lino66661243840913_Lu.jpg don't know the words) run over them all and then dispose of them as non burnable trash.

There are companies that specializes in secure destruction of data in the hard drives. In some cases, they will go to their client's offices and bring a portable machine with a magnet inside that will completely wipe all data off the drives. This will also prevent anyone else from resurrecting the data. After that, you might want to consider either donating the drives or selling them to a recycling company.

It costs money getting it done. However, if the data is sensitive, any responsible company should spend the money and effort to keep such data from falling into the wrong hands.

please define destroy first, i want to know to what extension u want to do, if simply not let other people get date from it ot physically let it disappear. in my opinion get a big tank filled with high concentration H2SO4, HNO3 or any thing like that will do the job quite well

Here's a question: Are you guys Gunpla/mecha modelers?

Suggestion: If you can find some serious (And I mean SERIOUS) mecha modelers out there who need bits and pieces for their kits, sell these to them for cheap, on the condition that they have to be the ones to disassemble and destroy the drives.

You have no idea what I can do with tiny circuit boards, the disk 'reading needle', motors, etc from a broken hard drive...and I'm not even that 1337 at mecha modelling...

Another nutty one: put them all in the back lot, and provide an aluminum baseball bat at the door.

Put up sign next to door saying: "Stress Relief: $0.50/half hour"

When someone at the office has a bad day, lead them into the back lot, and watch 'em go to town on the drives. >D
