2nd attempt at sewing for DDs -- Punk tank top
Mon 2010/06/07 04:40 JST
Hi all!
This punk tank top is my second attempt at sewing for my DDs. Here's Mikuru to show off the end results . . .
I also made the chain accessories. The hot pants are from Azone, and the boots are from Mimiwoo.

cuuute ^o^
looks good on her~
I like her little chain :)
Thanks! I've made a bunch of chain belts and accessories for my DDs -- they're actually really easy. Some have charms on them. Haven't had a chance to take photos.
Good 2nd attempt, looks good. Top looks a bit weird at the bottom of pic #91214. Mikuru is probably pushing it with her back to make it look like this.
If you have time, make a tutorial for us all. At least, I like to have a tutorial ^^
Yup, it's scrunched up behind Mikuru -- I was so busy trying to make her look like she was pulling up her stocking that I forgot to straighten it out!
I've never done a tutorial before . . .
Focusing on one thing, forgetting the other, happens me all the time when I want to take some photos ^^;
For everything there is a first time... if you made a tutorial, let me know.
Great job, it's looking great on her. Put me down for wanting to see a tutorial as well :P I'm new to sewing and Dollfies so I'm hoping to combine the two.
Not bad! It came out good!
wow that's very cute and cool ^^
Good job!! Looks very nice
Looks good! Good job, the little chain is quite nice!
Mikuru looks cute.
Great job! Very neat sewing! I saw that fabric at the fabric shop but for some reason did not buy it ^^;; it's very cute tho!
Thanks! The fabric is really thin so very difficult to sew with. My sewing machine kept "eating" the material. Eventually I used a stabilizer which helped, but it was the tear-away stuff and hard not to pull all my stitches out.
I have extra fabric if you want me to send you a little bit. I guess I'm very new to this -- I asked for 1 metre of fabric -- way too much for one shirt.
Oh keep the fabric in case you can make something else with it! Did you use a sewing needle for knit fabric? That might help prevent the machine from eating the fabric I think? :)
Yes, I used a ball-point needle *and* a walking foot. The fabric still got eaten. My machine must be hungry.
oh dear! o_o
The shirt looks good ^^
Awesome ebil cute!! I like it lots!!!!
(o.O)
Oh that's pretty nice work!
I would love to find a fabric like that *-*, nice job!
Good Job!!
Nice! ^w^
