Revoltech Fraulein Makinami Mari

Posted by Yukihana [www]

I got Mari awhile ago but haven't really taken much pictures of her but I was really impressed by how she looks and I just adore the pearlescent pink coating they did on her plug suit.

The pose ability of her is just amazing, the revoltech fraulein line has really improved, she has a joint in her back that lets her back arch like this, really quite amazing.

Thank you ^^ Figmas are great for posing and sometimes revoltechs go tend to be harder to pose but they have improved

I kinda want both, this one seems more aggressive than the figma one :P

I'm getting the figma version of Mari also, the seat that she comes with totally won me over, if it wasn't for that I think I would have just stuck with the revoltech one. After seeing promo pictures of Figma Mari, I thought that the revoltech Mari was more detailed than the figma version.

I'm getting Figma Mari Illustrious~ Mainly the pilot chair winning it.
But, I'm getting Rei Fraulein. The new belly/waist joint is good. You could pose them better in the pilot seat I presume. (Figma Mari in the photo's with the seat looks as if her waist is in a cast huhuhu~ "kinda stiff Mari?")

I wanna see them curves ~

I'm also getting figma Mari for that reason also, pilot sea = total win!
I'm kinda wondering if revoltech Mari will fit into the figma pilot seat since revoltechs tend to be a bit bigger compared to figmas but the eva girls seem to be a little thinner than the other revoltechs, probably because they are from difference series. I'll do some comparison shots once figma Mari is in my hands.....just have to wait till October for that =( soo long I don't wanna wait that long.

True, true, I hope they fit in anyway. Billy Herrington seems to fit in, just. lol

I also hope that they do fit but we'll just have to wait till she's released =(

Hmm hard to say whether the figma is better. I'm guessing the figma is more articulate but their figmas are more obvious. Plus it does come with a pilot seat which is probably more of a selling point too.

I agree that its hard to decide but I think revoltech did a pretty good job and from the promo pictures of figma Mari, she's not bad either plus she has the pilot seat which is an added bonus.

although i wonder why the figma version for this series is less accurate than the revoltech version this time round...

yeah the pilot seat for figma is great!!! but i'll be overdoing it if i buy it just for that...

i wish they did it seperately though...

i think the pearl finish on the revoltech version adds its edge as well as the facial accuracy...

I dunno, different companies does things differently...I mean both companies did the suzumiya haruhi series and both are nice in their own way. I'm definitely going to be getting the figma versions of them too, even if its just for the pilot seat XD it would be nice if you could get the pilot seat separately but I think max factory put in the pilot seat so that it would sell better. If it wasn't for that seat, I would have just stuck with only the revoltech version.

Looks lovely, I do want XD, but I shall be nitpicky & say the pink colour of her suit, seems pearlescent rather than metallic XD

I usually prefer figmas but this Fraulein Mari looks better, didn't think it would sold out so easily especially with the figma comming, just hope I can get one in the future.

Revolotech really stepped it up a notch on their Fraulein with the Haruhi releases. I've been pleased with them since then. I'm loving my Mari, and Asuka is on the way.

One thing I have a problem with on my Mari, and I wanted to know if anyone is having the same problem. Her shoulder joints do not move. I've removed the arms and tried applying a little force, trying not to break it in the process, but they just do not go up and down. Does anyone else have that problem?
