A Dragon Age anime feature is being produced by Funimation and Bioware for a projected 2011 straight-to-DVD feature.
The film's executive producers are BioWare's Executive Producer Mark Darrah and Creative Director Mike Laidlaw, as well as Funimation's president and CEO Gen Fukunaga and Director of Original Entertainment Chris Moujaes.

I'm not entirely sure what Japanese studios will be brought in to work on this, but based off of previous western franchises made into anime, this should be pretty good.

I've heard a lot of good things about the game. I'll give the anime a chance, I guess.
Hmmmm, while Dragon Age is extremely good, I don't think that an anime is a proper medium for it.
But I guarantee you there would be plenty fan service. *points to the article picture* Oh how I love Morrigan!
Something doesn't add up here: Funimation is renowned for censoring the anime they license to appeal to a broader audience. Dragon Age is very specifically an 'adults-only' fictional world. I think there is a lot of potential in adapting Dragon Age to pretty much any medium thanks to the rich lore that Bioware have built up already and I'm certainly excited about the prospect of an animated feature (I'm not sure it really qualifies as anime) I'm equally concerned about who's handling it.
