This was my first garage kit (and currently still the only one I've done, though I have another on its way) and despite many imperfections I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I found working on a garage kit to be at times quite relaxing and at others frustrating, but ultimately very rewarding.
Her expression are not fit with her pose imho ^^;;
My interpretation of the pose is that she's tying her headband on, getting ready for battle... so I think the aggressive expression fits, but I suppose it's not for everyone!

Ooooor you could interpret it as her having been captured by the enemy, and being forced to put her hands on her head. ^^;
you made it ur self? that's quite nice for a beginner (^_^)
