Google homepage

Having just found out about this new feature (my old homepage was the firefox google page over the actual google page) I've altered my bookmark to now take me stright to google so I can have this beauty on startup ^_^
Now I shall have to see about taking some shots that will work well with this ^^
How have you got this working on .co.uk?
I can only change and view the image through .com - which isn't the default it routes to.
You know, I've no idea how. I've hopped onto my Photoshop machine to sort out pics and can't get it on .co.uk here, however my other machine has it working fine. I'm afraid I've no idea how I managed that.

You know, it wasn't until I read your post that I found out what 'bing' was. I just thought it was some sort of intentional misspelling of 'bling' ^^;
Haven't used a different search engine to google for years now.
gonna stop using google.com and start getting into the habit of using the google search bar in my browsers.... I don't care for their images and although I know you can change the background to whatever, you have to remain logged in for it to stick... and that I don't like at all. Also the fact that it makes google look more like Bing!
Well, I suppose one can always build their own custom page w/o being tied to an account or either engine.
I guess it's not to everyone's tastes, but isn't there a way of setting it as the original blank page? I've not looked into it myself, but it would seem daft of google not to offer the ability to go for the original plain BG.
