Yes those are wheels. Easier to roll out and vacuum underneath the computer and behind it. Keeps the room much cleaner.

This bookshelf was the only one I could find that fit between the edge of my desk and the wall. Filling the gap perfectly.

I have a Logitech 5.1 Speaker System, but I couldn't find anywhere to place the last 'left-rear' speaker, so I drove a small nail into my bookshelf and hung the speaker there. It also acts has a hanger for my headphones.

Probably my only figure with a missing base. So I ended up propping her up against some DVDs. This is probably the only way I could keep her up!

I have a cat running around, so the grills really help keep dust and hair out of the system.

Hmmm. I got 4 HDDs inside. 1xVelociraptor 10k 300GB, and 3x500GB Seagates (one of which has already failed on me).
Its got crappy DDR2800 RAM, so this build is really outdated right now, but i do have 8GB's so thats plenty for digital content creation.
I used lots of rubber grommets and anti vibration pads and screws to keep the whole system more quiet. Less humming, and less damage to the HDD, since the HDD rack is mounted on the BACK of the 120mm fans.
Its watercooled, so i am using 2x EK Surpremes, a triple rad, single looped for the 2 CPUs.
I replaced the NB heatsink with a custom one. cant think of too much else.

the entire rig itself was about $3500 USD
