KB 1/8 Erica Hartmann
I had to pop down to the depot to pay off yet more C&E charges (again.. I'm a regular there now ^^; ). Today, it was to free this lovely lass from the clutches of their evil grasp. ^^
Enter Erica Hartmann, the bubbly and childish 'Sexy Gal' of the group.
Like previous KB Strike Witches releases The sculpt captures her likeness fairly well, and the figure is fairly detailed. The stand yet again proves to be annoying, with Hartmann being too top heavy in certain positions, causing the stand to turn under her weight. Still, a bit of blue-tac and that problem will be solved ^^
Whilst the sun was still out I quickly nabbed a few shots with my basic camera, so I'm afraid the quality of the pics isn't all that great, sorry ^^;
Her hat, which is held on by a magnet, a great idea! ^_^
As mentioned previoulsy, her hat is magnetic and it's a strong one too, as you can see here.
Yes I am holding the entire figure and base off the deck, with just the hat ^_^
It's a great idea, I've lost count the amount of times my Sion or Alleyne have had their hats casually knocked off. With Hartmann, there's no chance her hat will easily come off her head... and vice-versa :D
My Erica arrived on Saturday. Nice to see someone else with her too, isn't she just so cute? So nice that she's not making the >=O face like the others ^_^
Indeed, I think that KB did a good job on her facial sculpt ^^ I now have to wait for the rest of the girls to land... I'm espicially waiting for a Sakamoto. The Sega prize one is good, but I would like an Alter/KB version too ^_^
That's a pretty strong magnet. I found Eric to be one of my favourite characters, she generally has the most happiest and bubbliest spirit of the team. She and Barkhorn make a great pair although they are like the opposite couple :P
Erica was a great character, I think she's awesome in Ep7 as she's casually eating whilst they start the fuss over the missing underwear and she's the one who started it all :D
That and the 'sexy gal' bit had me laughing ^_^

Lynne is another great sculpt, I think KB managed to nail her perfectly ^_^
There's something to be said about a busty girl casually holding a 35lb anti-tank rifle :D
As much as I love the sculpts for these figures the bases for some reason always bothered me but by any chance does the DI:stages fit for these if they do I might start picking these up but as for now I'm just waiting for alter to make the rest of them.
I've not got a DI:stage to test it out I'm afraid, but the KB sttachment is via a square hole, so I think there would be some minor modding required. It would've been nice for the base arms to be of a clear plastic rather than the blue, but that won't change now ^^;
I've never seen Eric Cartman look so cute! :P I've only seriously considered getting Lynette as she's my favorite from the show but seeing them all together really looks great. I'd love to see the whole group flying in formation in my display cabinet.
I'm slowing working my way to the group together, considering that Strike Witches is one of my core collections here ^^ Almost managed it with the gashapon sets, I just need to track down a Hartmann one to finish the lot ^^
