Ahhh what a day today was for gamers, great games announced and a little more indepth demo than those those 15 second trailers we were given.
So what was shown today ???

Nintendo showed off Zelda:Skyward Sword which...well it was a great looking game..but using a Wii mote ..well you get the idea.
Sony showed off their move which really is just a bigger flashier version of the WiiMote.
Game wise:
Gears of War 3: We had a little indepth video on horde mode and how now you can play as pretty much ANYTHING and they mean anything. Wanna unleash the berserker inside you?? Rack up enough points and unleash her.

Fable3: Allows you to ....have sex with your friends..*cough* awkward messages on XBL, the game follows a new story of two brothers one becoming the king, and the other (you) becoming...well I'm not sure, it's up to you, what you become.

Crysis2: Was taken indepth and I'm worried, I don't think 360 will be able to handle such a stunning game.

Portal 2...that's it...it's portal 2. Glados is back and she's angrier/happier than ever...it's always hard to tell with her. But the game looks great, I can't say that I am happy for the thing you have to carry around...he's annoying.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, who knows where this game fits on the timeline of Hyrule history....even the devs don't know. But who cares??? It's another Zelda game and it looks pretty colourful and nice I do hope the Wii Mote doesn't drag it down.

The new Zelda game looks pretty good; I hope they tell us about the girl on that poster they had a while back soon. Gotta love the Twilight Princess and Wind Waker mixture of art!
I grew up mostly on Nintendo so I'm not that excited about other games~
This post massively skimps on the Nintendo details, but there was a LOT today for people who grew up with Nintendo: in addition to the new Zelda, there were new Donkey Kong, Kid Icarus and Kirby games announced, we saw more of the new Metroid, a remake of Goldeneye for Wii and a 3D version of Star Fox 64 for 3DS, to name just a few. Just about all of Nintendo's classic franchises are present at E3 this year!
Yea. I think Nintendo made up for their abysmal E3 2008 presentation.

According to an interview with Miyamoto,**SPOILER?** the Skyward Sword becomes the Master Sword. Which should place it first or second in the timeline. (Minish Cap had no mention of the Master Sword and introduce the iconic hat, so I've considered it the chronologically first Zelda so far.)
I'm pretty sure Minish Cap isn't the only Zelda game without the Master Sword. As far as I'm aware it didn't make its first appearance until A Link To The Past (the third game released), and I don't think it's in Link's Awakening either.
Ah, true. But neither Ganon or the Triforce are mentioned either. In my personal opinion, it fits best at the very beginning, a time before the whole Ganon conflict. Oh the enigmas of the Zelda timeline ;)
It's pretty interesting considering the timeline possibilities but until Nintendo release a game tying it all together (or release an official timeline) I find it easier not to read too much into it, haha.
Minish is meant to be the first though, since he doesnt have his hat at that point~
What do you mean you don't think Crysis 2 can be handled by Xbox? The demo looked like it was on a XBox isn't it?
