Japan trip Help!!!!

This summer, my friend and I are heading to japan for a one month stay; so most of our tickets have already been prepared; however, the problem we are facing now is "where to live"!. Can anyone suggest any living arrangement we can use on our trip, like some cheap inns, hotels, or even apartments if possible.
Its only the 2 of us on this trip

Where in Japan are you staying? I spent a month in Tokyo last year using them http://www.sakura-house.com/ it was really reasonable you should have no problems! I hope it helps.

Only looked at for a few minutes, but I gotta say I am impressed. This would help make a very affordable trip. I should start saving my pennies

The least expensive place I stayed at was Aizuya Inn. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Tripadvisor gives them a good rating and I concur that they are a great place for someone traveling on the cheap. A small twin room costs 5700 yen per night which is about $30 per person for a private room. Not bad for Tokyo and maybe you can talk the owner down in price a little. Here's the website: http://www.aizuya-inn.com/
The are very good about answering emails and work with you if your plans change. If you have any questions about my experience there, post them here.

I concur. I stayed at Aizuya for about a month last summer (although looking at Sakura House I might try an apartment next time). Anywho, staff at Aizuya is really nice, pretty close to the train station and a few stops away from Akihabara/Ueno. The place is well maintained, restrooms are cleaned pretty regularly (downstairs has the bezel). English is not a problem, and they'll even help you to make reservations or translate some Japanese for you.

Drawbacks is that there's not too much around the neighborhood. The area has a few nursing/retirement homes I believe, so get use to seeing old people. Showers are coin operated 100yen/5minutes, so factor that into your calculations. You can stop the water to stop the time, so most of the time 100yen is enough. Washer/dryer there runs a bit small, but there's a laundromat a block away.

Conclusion: You won't regret staying at Aizuya. It's a good bet if you're only going to stay in Tokyo for a few weeks and then travel elsewhere around Japan. However, if you plan on staying the full month in Tokyo I'd look into Sakura House more closely.

Feel free to ask any further questions, I'll do what I can to help.

I'm personally planning to stay at Yoshida house when I go next year, not sure if that's any help to you.

It's around ¥50,000 yen for a month stay which is around 370 pound at the moment, not exactly sure about in Canadian dollars but I was reccomended it from a few people on the site I learn Japanese from so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Got even laundry and micro fridge, everything u need in case. 6200y per night per yen, im splitting it with my gf since its a 2-pers room.
