Nendoroid Saber: Super Moveable Edition
I was waiting for someone to write this, but I haven't seen a single post about her og Figure.fm, so might at well do it myself ^^;;
As some of you know, we already have 5 Saber nendo's. But this time, she actually has realistic faces~ (not counting Lily and Lion...)
On GSC's site they wrote this:
"A fully posable Saber Nendoroid is here!
From 'Fate/stay night' comes another Nendoroid of the main heroine, Saber - but this time she comes as a "Super Movable Edition" which has fully posable joints throughout the body for even more poses than before!
She comes with three expressions: a smiling face, an angry face and even a face in mid-tantrum. But that is not all - she also comes with her swords Excalibur and Caliburn, as well as replaceable parts to recreate the sword in its "Invisible Air" form. It's still the adorable Nendoroid, but the amount of ways to have fun with it have increased with this edition - you can create even more of your favorite scenes from the series now"
This Saber seems to be a now type og nendoroid. As you can see, her arms and legs have joints, which means that you don't have to change her arms or legs to create a new pose.

I preordered her today when I heard about her. Had to order her because she looks cute and of course its Saber =3

If all Nedoroids were this articulated, I'd probably be a lot more fond of them. ^^;

I don't even see why we need to write posts like these. Figure.fm is not exactly a news site, there are better sites for that purpose. But whatever goes I guess. ^ ^;
Instant get and already pre-ordered. Not digging the "raw" face though. My Nendos are supposed to be 100% adorable!

That actually leads me to ask a question. For AmiAmi; let's say back in March you preordered something that is being released in November, but then in May you preordered something else that is released in November. Will AmiAmi try to combine them into a single order?
I'm not certain if they do so I wait a little while before I preorder so I can preorder a bunch of items together instead of separately, to reduce shipping cost.
Yes, Amiami will combine preorders due out in the same month. Most of the time they will do it automatically when you place an order, but they do sometimes miss one being human. All you have to do to be sure, is to place in the order message field “Please combine with Order No.XXX".
So don't have to worry about waiting. Snap up those preorders ASAP! :P

Yup, i preordered a Black Rock Shooter Animated Version and i requested combine this figure with that order, theres a field on the screen where you select the shipping type
AmiAmi will email you when they combine your orders. However, as some pre-orders slip their release dates, you can see why AmiAmi might have let it slip that they didn't combine it.
I pre-ordered Freeing Senhime, which was supposed to be released in May. Unfortunately, the release date slipped to June. I also pre-ordered GSC Azusa nendo, which was released on schedule in June. When I received an invoice for Azusa nendo, I emailed AmiAmi to combine it with Freeing Senhime so both could be shipped together.
A similar problem happened when I used to order from HobbySearch. You can combine pre-orders that are released on the same month through their user system. However, when HobbySearch did not update a slipped release date, the system would not allow you to combine the orders. When that happened, I emailed them to update their system, thus allowing me to combine my orders.
Well site is called figure.fm, and that is a figure. Think its within the scope of the site =P
I can see the 'rawr' face coming in handy. I like to swap around faces between nendos anyway, so I can see potential uses for it with other Nendos >=3
Agreed but, meh, people will still do it. I do it if im bored :P After reading your comment i actually took a long hard think what figure.fm is. the 'fm' implies its a radio station (not really but you know what i mean), and most radio stations give the latest news, updates etc.

I think figure.fm is a place where you should be able to talk about, look at and discuss, figures. Both old and new. But how are you supposed to do that, when no creates a topic about it?
It's exactly as you say, however. the figure has not been release it. All we can say falls into -How excited we are -whether we are going to get or not get.
Not much to discuss as all details are not known. Not that these posts bother me, so don't worry about it.

One of the reasons I wasn’t so keen on Nendoroids in the past was due to their lack of poseability. However, this Saber Nendo has actually piqued my interest, since GSC added numerous points of articulation (which I think they should have done from the very beginning),

...and so the 'next gen' of nendoroids has been released. They can never be as articulate as their older brother (the figma series), but this is definitely a vast improvement. We can only hope future nendoroid releases will be similar to this one.

Seems like they combined nendos with figmas. It's a logical step, since GSC (which does nendos) and Max Factory (which does figmas) are so close.
I still prefer scaled figures, so I didn't pre-order this.
Truth to be told, I'm not a big fan of Nendoroid or Saber. I am however completely sold to this one only because of that angry LOL face. I'm kinda in a dilemma of to get or not to get her.

I might actually pick this up. I love the joints, hopefully this becomes the regular for all nendos in the future.
Hopefully this will lead to death of fake Nendroids out there.

Tempting. But I have so many Sabers already. And GSC Saber Excalibur on Pre-order. If I get this Saber Nendo, I'll have to get the Saber Lily nendo too.

ZOMG a Saber Nendo with good faces(Saber Lily not included.) Not only have I wanted a Saber Nendo with actually detailed hands and feet, I've been hoping for a Nendo with joints for a while! Though the petite Miku Nendo had these kinds of joints.
Just about to point out that hatchune petit seems to have a vey similar joint system. Indulge myself to PO it along with figma Makinami. So, is Amiami the best option for this one?
