Bootlegs, Anyone?
Wed 2010/06/23 19:17 JST
Went to a mall near my home to watch a movie at the cinema. Actually I've visited this shop many times - sells magazines, but they do have some toys and gashapons as well. I have mentioned before in comment posts that bootlegs are common at my place. There you go, with sample photos below. I had to be careful when snapping photos, so that i don't get many questions from the shop owner, out of curiosity. ^^; Anyone interested??? LOL...

pfft are the owners that nervous or something?? they shouldnt be selling bootlegs in the 1st place. all theyre doing is funding the crooks who make this
They are not nervous - curious. You know, there are many Malaysians who knows nothing about bloggers and the internet community, and not tech-savvy, especially blue-collar class of working adults (non-professional ones such as vendors, hawkers etc). It might be common to see someone strolling around shooting pics of everything to us, but not them. I just wanna avoid them from asking me lots of questions out of curiosity... ^^;
If i was in your shoes, id do whatever i feel like. i dont blog though. but these guys are selling bootlegs. and these kinda people should be shamed.
dang cowboy, lego bootlegs? xDDD
what you should do is report this to authorities
LOL the problem is that Malaysia's authorities do nothing about bootleg toys (because they cant even differentiate them), and the fact most kids'toys are made in China. However they come down pretty hard on pirated discs though, and bootlegs of branded garments.
in my country we call that incompetence, maybe if someone star pointing directions they will have a start point to begin, until then they sell this crap like it was nothing
pasar malam ada lagi banyak lol
LOL !!!! hahahaha
Is it JUSCO ? Look familiar to me. Come on, If you hate bootleg just ignores it and get the original, since nothing we can do to stop this, unless china falls, if not, still will be so much bootleg came out.
Even if China falls, then India will pick up the slack... LOL and another third world country like Viet after India falls and the list goes on... haha! Seriously, what country wouldn't have BOOTLEGS, even here in the STATES you can find bootlegs of almost everything imaginable.
Philipines has a load of random bootleg, and yet my mom still buys me a fake louis vuitton wallet! XD
lol that makes two of our moms. My mom buys a bunch of fake LV purses there. Places like green hills and 168 are loaded with fakes.
My mom would be like, happy birthday!! And I respond back with, its a fake isn't it. And she'll be like, Duh....
XD
Don't be ungrateful, it's the thought that counts.
C'mon guys give your moms a break, just think of what they went through in raising you.^^,
Yes, you are right! ^^; I used to buy a few bootlegs a few years ago when i was like 15 years old, to compete with frens in collection count, but somehow now i prefer quality. Just took the shots so that i could have something to post here lol...
yup, malaysia is indeed fill with bootlegs. out of 10 decent shops, there is only 2 selling non bootleg in my area, and i haven't include those cheap shops and stalls. feel sad for those who don't know how to differentiate original and bootleg, they're supporting bootlegs without knowing it.
There character is right but the rest of it is soo wrong XD
Fake gundam, rather, fake everything is running rampant where I used to live. The Philippines is notorious for selling a lot of fake things.
The 00 Fighter was my favourite from the series. = 3
Is the same problem here but in all type of products Tv's, DVD's Shoe's cellphones, toys
and all type of things
