figma BRS base ~version saiki~

Posted by saiki [www]

looking into some figures of BRS makes me motivated "again" for making another project...^_^
ok, I got excited when i pre-ordered the BRS figma, but waiting for the release date to come is like hell...T_T

the brs figure that attracted me is the anime version especially the base...
...yup the base...XD
looking at the base carefully and studying the structures of it comes the idea of making an action base for the figma...yay!

well, finding materials isn't that hard because i already have some of it...^_^
...here's the materials that i use for this little project...
illustration board
super glue
glue gun w/glue stick
ruler/pencil/scissors/cutter knife
tamiya putty
wire
screws
lacquer thinner/paint thinner
ordinary enamel paints (black, white)
paintbrush
bosny acrylic spray paint (clear) - i only use this after finalizing the details

now that i finished the base, im currently thinking of making an attachment to the base to where i can mount the original base of the figma...hehe

-cutting the illustration board into small squares and glue it together using super glue
-i added braises inside these boxes to add more support and i use a glue gun to stick it...

i just mix the putty and thinner then i brush it to the design...XD
then started detailing to the design...

after the details, i finished it with the clear bosny spray paint

here's the bottom view of the base...i haven't painted it yet...maybe there's no need to paint this part...hehehe...XD

Wonderful! Will make your BRS more awesome when it comes. Do you think the base is still a little small? What if some day you want a diorama with the upcoming Figma Dead Master?
