Which one will be the easiest to build?

Posted by musika [www]

Since I change my work, I rarely having time for building some of my loots.. I just buy and buy and buy and end up of so many boxes at my room. For those who already build some of my items, could you tell which one will be the easiest to build and detail? Your suggestion is highly appreciated. Thank you so much. Arigato! :D

I agree and choose the HGUC Unicorn Gundam [Unicorn Mode] since you don't have to do a lot of painting, etc. to get it look like what it's supposed to, unlike the FG Kyrios Gundam which is easier to assemble but requires a lot of work after the assembly... my 2 cents =)

    Agree with Mao,

I've been building Gundams for over 20 yrs now, the newer the kit, the easer to built, plus the unicorn in unicorn mode doesn't have a lot of things sticking out, and the clean lines makes the built much easeier. And specially when it comes to painting.

As for detail, it really depends on how much detail you want to put in. Straight out of the box built or would you like to turn it into a 1/144 MG.

The one that I'd avoid is the Wing... those older kits can become a real pain and the porportion is a nightmare.

FG is really easy to build but one of the heck to details.. I already build so many FG model and tried to make them as HG looks.

The FG is obviously the easiest kit to build from that but I'd recomend you choose the Seravee for sheer fun. It's an amusing build and the bulkier 00 kits are all generally pretty fun to build. Failling that, the normal Unicorn is a simple and clean build but it doesn't hold up much to its MG counterpart for what it's priced at, especially compared to what the 00 HG can offer you. Leave the Wing for last unless you really want to display a crappy old plastic monster that badly.

Well all them are easy to build. The darker the color of the gundam, the less detail you have to put into it ^^ So Susanowo would be my bet, though I haven't seen a lot of reborns gundam >.>

I'd go for the HG Wing Gundam zero custom due to the fact that it is a very old model, or go for the FG Kyrios

HG Wing Gundam Zero custom is very simple to build, the only thing that made it flawed was how the wings were designed. The weight of all 4 wings in total do not have enough support from the back , it was impossible for it stand on its feet without some other form of support. I had to use super glue just to make sure the wings stayed together.

If you want to do it right, I do not suggest NT-D mode Unicorn (although, I may just be scared to start it myself, due to wanting to make the psycoframes look right). I suggest Exia, since it IS the easiest out of all the HGs I see in your pics.

Unicorn maybe the second choice, but to be quite frank, it looks like the sumi-ire is going to be painful as hell...

I think that the easiness doesn't matter, because if you finish up all the easy ones first, you're going to have all the tough ones stacking up in your backlog, which might discourage you when you think of this "oh, god, have so many tough kits left!". You can spend 30-60 mins a day working on a kit bit by bit. I build MG gunpla even in campus, even during exam season. Just do it bit by bit.

Anyway obviously FG is the easiest lol, but if you're serious with your kit's details, it is the toughest out of all - because of paint job.
